Columbus, OH band Red Wanting Blue will once again be returning to the Cleveland area for a concert at the House of Blues, this time having just released a new album, From the Vanishing Point. The band will take to the stage at HOB for a concert on February 4, 2012.

Along with their last CD of These Magnificent Miles, Red Wanting Blue has also been on the road promoting a DVD by that same name. The DVD is a sort of diary of the band as the video was created during the time when Red Wanting Blue was looking for a label to release their music. As the DVD points out at the end of the documentary, RWB signed with Fanatic Records who re-released the band’s These Magnificent Miles with extra tracks as part of the album. It is now with Fanatic Records that Red Wanting Blue has released their 2012 release, entitled From the Vanishing Point.  

The new album from Red Wanting Blue has the same basic style and sound as the band’s previous release of These Magnificent Miles, thanks to the production of Jamie Candiloro. With the help of Jamie Candiloro as producer of that release, the band took their sound and made it better. So when the band was looking to create their new album, they once again turned to Candiloro, who helped the band create a release that sounded very much like the These Magnificent Miles album they originally self-released before Fanatic Records re-released it.  

With From the Vanishing Point, Red Wanting Blue has created an album that contains several songs that are sure to become part of their fans’ favorites and part of the band’s playlist for years to come. Songs like “Audition,” “White Snow” and “Stay on the Bright Side” all have the same sort of feeling that fans of the band will surely gravitate to as much as the older songs like “Venus 55,” “Borderline,” “Finger in the Air,” “You Are My Las Vegas,” “Spies and Lovers” and the rest of the songs that become staples in the band’s live shows. These songs are such favorites with their audiences that you can hear the concertgoers singing along with the band’s lead singer Scott Terry. With this release, Red Wanting Blue has created another album that should make their fans, new and old, very happy.

The band is currently on tour to promote their new album called From the Vanishing Point. They will be in Cleveland on February 4, 2012 when they play the House of Blues. The Floorwalkers will also be on the bill. The show starts at 9:00pm with the doors at 8:00pm.
